In 2012, I conceived, financed and launched Vitrine: a printed museum where I acted as Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director. A postmodern print experiment and portable gallery that mixed everything from fashion and fine art to pop culture and performance, I worked under the guidance of performance artist Karen Finley and scholars Randy Martin, PhD and Victor P. Corona, PhD. Culturally active, visually assaulting, and textually provocative, Vitrine removed art from the white cube and placed it at your fingertips. Contributions and profiles include Amanda Lepore, Bibbe Hansen, Darian Darling, Conrad Ventur, Michael Alig, Lady Starlight, Kate Durbin, Grimanesa Amoros and more.
